W. Jeffrey BeckhamManaging Director, Head of Institutional Investment Management, and Fund Manager – Premier Property Fund
W. Jeffrey Beckham is a Managing Director, the Head of Institutional Investment Management, and the Fund Manager of the Premier Property Fund of Jamestown. Mr. Beckham oversees all institutional investor products at Jamestown, which includes serving as Fund Manager and Investment Committee member for Jamestown’s open-end core-plus investment vehicle, the Premier Property Fund, and overseeing and serving on the Investment Committee for Jamestown’s Latin America investment fund. He joined Jamestown in 2010. Mr. Beckham started his career working in Morgan Stanley’s real estate group, focusing on both advisory and principal transactions based in New York, London and Tokyo. Upon leaving Morgan Stanley, he joined Hines in London and helped start and fully invest Hines’ first European Development Fund. After leaving Hines, Mr. Beckham joined Tishman Speyer in their New York headquarters in 2004, and then helped open their Atlanta office in 2007. While at Tishman Speyer, he worked on acquisitions, development, dispositions, asset management, portfolio management and leasing. Mr. Beckham is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association, the Urban Land Institute and the Real Estate Executive Council (REEC) and a member of the Board of Directors of the Metro Atlanta YMCA and of Junior Achievement of Georgia. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business in 1998.
Lori LathemChief Accounting Officer
Lori Lathem is the Chief Accounting Officer of Jamestown. Prior to joining Jamestown, Ms. Lathem was a Vice President in Morgan Stanley’s Financial Controller’s Group and oversaw the financial reporting of the open-end real estate fund, Morgan Stanley Real Estate Special Situations Fund III L.P. Prior to her work with Morgan Stanley, she managed the portfolio accounting, analysis and financial reporting for the Florida State Board of Administration pension fund’s real estate portfolios. Ms. Lathem is licensed in Georgia as a Certified Public Accountant and is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Auburn University.
Philipp BraunfelsVice President, Investment Manager
Philipp Braunfels is a Vice President and Investment Manager for the Andean Region at Jamestown, focusing on Latin American investments and asset management out of the local office in Bogotá, Colombia. Upon joining Jamestown, he supported the German retail fund management team in Cologne, Germany and also worked for the Acquisitions and Asset Management departments out of the US offices in Atlanta and New York. Mr. Braunfels graduated Cum Laude from Maastricht University with a Master of Science in International Business Finance and also holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business Economics. He is fluent in German, English and Spanish.
Angel MoralesVice President, Latin America Fund Accounting
Angel Morales is a Vice President of Latin America Fund Accounting at Jamestown. Mr. Morales joined Jamestown in 2015 as a Controller. Prior to joining Jamestown, he served as Senior Manager of the Real Estate Assurance practice at Carr, Riggs & Ingram in Atlanta, where he led audits of domestic and international institutional real estate entities and accounting due diligence on large real estate acquisitions. Prior to that, Mr. Morales worked as an auditor at EY in Tampa, serving clients in the US, Mexico and Puerto Rico. He began his career as an auditor at PwC in San Juan. Mr. Morales is licensed in Puerto Rico and Georgia as a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Association of Latino Professionals for America, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of CPAs, and the Colegio de CPAs de Puerto Rico. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico. Mr. Morales is fluent in English and Spanish.
